Affiliate disclaimer
Rachel Taylor EI
Effective 2 September 2026.
The short version
Some of the links in the Learning Academy are affiliate links. If you buy through one, I may earn a small commission. It never costs you anything extra, and it never changes what I recommend.
What an affiliate link is
An affiliate link is a tracked link to a product or service. If you click it and go on to buy, the company pays me a commission for the referral.
The price you pay is exactly the same as it would be if you went to the site directly. Occasionally an affiliate link gets you a discount that is not publicly available, in which case I will say so.
How I choose what to recommend
This is the part that matters more than the disclosure itself.
I only recommend tools I use in my own business, or that I have properly vetted and would happily use. Every plugin, platform, and service mentioned in the Learning Academy is there because it does the job, not because it pays the best commission.
There are tools I use daily that have no affiliate program at all, and I recommend them just as often. There are tools with generous affiliate programs that I will not recommend, because I do not think they are good enough for you.
I do not accept payment for placement, and I do not run sponsored content. Nobody can buy their way into a lesson, a resource list, or a template recommendation.
How links are labelled
Affiliate links are labelled where they appear, so you always know before you click. You will see them marked like this:
Gravity Forms [affil. link]
Not every link in the Learning Academy is an affiliate link. Unlabelled links are ordinary links.
Where affiliate links appear
- Course and training content inside the Learning Academy
- Template documentation and setup instructions, where a tool is required to use the template
- The resources page on racheltaylor.com.au
- Occasionally in newsletters and on social media, always labelled
Your decision, your responsibility
Recommendations are exactly that. They are based on my own experience and on what works for the kind of businesses I build for. They are not personal advice, and they are not a guarantee that a given tool is right for you.
Prices, plans, features, and terms change without warning and without my knowledge. Always check the current details on the provider's own site before you buy, and take responsibility for deciding whether something suits your business.
I am not responsible for third party products, their performance, their support, or their continued existence. Anything you buy from another company is a contract between you and them.
Questions
Happy to answer any of them, including which tools I would pick if I were starting again today.
